My new stove.....
This is a 1948 Montgomery Wards gas stove.
My husband found it on Craig's List for a steal...$40!
I love all that chrome!
It's all there and in working condition and was just converted from natural gas to propane.
Complete with owner's manual.
It's has a temporary home in the pole barn for now until we move it into the bunkhouse.
Isn't that light fixture neat!

ReplyDeleteHi there, I just got a "new" vintage stove. Same type with the same light fixture and same handles only mine doesn't have a window on the oven and has one less knob and one less vent on the back. I'm just curious if you have any info on these stoves. Yours is the only one I have found online that is like mine. Any advice?
