I love everything vintage and antique. I've been like this since I can remember. Luckily my husband is the same way but his interests are a bit different...that's another story. I love old furniture, buttons, laces, fabrics, rusty barn metal, chippy painted wood, just about anything with that aged look.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the fun old things I've collected over the years along with my new discoveries. I love going to old farm auctions and flea markets looking for that 'gotta have' piece that I just can't walk away from. It's all about finding that unexpected piece that you never knew you needed or that piece that you have been trying to find for years and suddenly there it is at a really good price!

I've sewn since I can remember, both Grandma’s taught me. I started making quilts in 1978, began hooking rugs in 1995. I love to crochet, sew, hook rugs, paint, garden...you'll find me outside as much as possible.

To support my "flea market habit" I design and sell patterns for rug hooking and wool applique which are available on my website and my Etsy shop. My designs have been featured several times in Create & Decorate and Christmas 365 magazines.
