Welcome to my Blog!

I love everything old and vintage. I've been like this since I was a kid. Luckily my husband is the same way but his interests are a bit different...that's another story. I love old furniture, buttons, laces, fabrics, rusty barn metal, chippy painted wood, just about anything old.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the cool old things I've collected over the years along with my new discoveries. I love going to old farm auctions and flea markets looking for that 'gotta have' piece that I just can't walk away from. It's all about finding that unexpected piece that you never knew you needed or that piece that you have been wanting for years and suddenly there it is at a really good price!

To support my collecting habit, I design patterns for rug hooking, wool applique and wool quilts and have an online pattern business. I hope you enjoy following this blog as much as I enjoy posting. Thanks for stopping by! ~Faye
